Okay, so... umm... yeah...
never mind...
So, anyway it has only been a few days and I am slacking off... I have just been busy between work and... life in general. We had our final home studio visit today and finalized all of the options for the house so that is pretty exciting... And I have also been working extra hours this week because of all of the appointments we have to go to. We have another one on friday to meet with the super to look at some other things for the house at the actual site of where the house is actually going to be built. Now, I know it sounds like this is expensive and whatever but I assure you we are just your average 20-somethings sans the marriage and babies. We are not married and we are most definitely thinking about kids yet if anytime soon... Anyway. Its not like custom home or anything where we bought the land and got with an architect with blueprints and all that jazz. Nope, just like most other 20-somethings we are lower that average in our combined annual income. So, this is a housing development thing, we just happened to find one who is still building so we get to choose practically everything for the house. i.e. granite counter tops, appliances, how big the patio is, the lot the house is going on, the color of the house, etc. All of the homes a roughly pre-designed but have a wide variety of options for each home. So, yeah... We are not high rollers or anything cool like super spies that make billions of dollars. We are just broke 20-somethings that have to scrounge and save our money to be able to do the cool things that we want to do, or at least things we think are cool. I like to have hobbies and I am willing to spend my free money on those projects. So, later on in the future when I get to start working on projects when we get into our new house and settled, please don't think that I am something I am not. I make the average amount of money every year and I have bills and debt just like everyone else. I know this sounds stupid but this is like a disclaimer. I know when I read crafty blogs I am "damn how do they have the money and time to do all that stuff?" to be honest I still don't know they must be rich and not have jobs, because everyday almost it is a new project and even if you thrift things where do you find the time between work, cleaning, cooking, working out, etc?! I don't get it. I am pretty boring I apologize... I plan on working on conveying my witty awesome charm on type like I do in person, but I have a hard time with that so please... bear with me. I am super excited to start my crafts going thrifting and refashioning my finds... all that type of stuff. I am also looking forward to building and refurbishing furniture. I like crafts... a lot. I plan on doing a little something to get me to post more... Maybe like a "5-a-Day" picture thing. where I post 5 pictures I take everyday. Plus that makes me take pictures more often. which is great because in high school I used to take pictures all the time and now I don't and I did just buy a new point and shoot camera a few weeks ago. So, yeah...
NAY IF YOU READ THIS YOU SHOULD DO THE 5 A DAY THING WITH ME PLEASE BE MY MOTIVATION, MY SUPPORT, MY WONDER BRA?!
